Astride the formula of seventeen degrees below steadfast, Candi said where is the last of the glimmering cans of peaches. The peaches did not answer. Candi went to the pantry and partied with the hatch of green olives so that ornery monkeys could read their futures in the eyes of the bee holders.
Jenny gave Astrid–astride the formula–a glimmering can of peaches. Where did you get them said Astrid. Astride the fortune teller in the carbuncle of carraway seeds said Jenny. Astrid said but I asked for an astrolabe. Abelard had only ridden fifty-three miles when he began to wonder what the next prime number was in the series, being so far from Padicland and not an Heloise in sight. Astrolabe told Abelard look there’s a candied pepper. Candi said get your own peppers or bring me a can of glimmering peaches.
Astrolabe blushed, and Abelard turned away in shame, wishing Heloise were there to stand trial. Guilty as charged!

Justice served! Although, she should have gone for the Candide peaches.
Those peaches that survived the great Lisbon earthquake, that is. Voltaire’s wife was not as into canning as Spinoza’s.
Always back to those monads
…all these formulas were useless. Life did not progress with the cruel ones. He wanted to throw away the peach boxes. But all the living creatures with hope and honey on their face, looked at her at the great door. They said in unison that this could be our only chance… So how many boxes, how many more boxes could open the door to the land of immortality… First, open the consciences of the cruel people, said the oldest of the old World,.. wished to swim and to drink the river, the river Lethe…
More peaches please! 🍑 And Nepenthe is delighted.
I need to think and remember and search some names, Lethe and Nepenthe contains two allusions: In Greek mythology, Lethe is one of the five rivers in the underworld, and all who drink from it experience complete forgetfulness; in ancient Greece, nepenthe was a fictional medicine described in Homer’s The Odyssey that was used to treat sorrow as it induced forgetfulness. I think there is something contradictory. Beacuse Peaches have a proven effect on the central cholinergic system, and they improve brain function tremendously. They are also high in Vitamin K which is good for the heart, and what’s good for our hearts is good for our brains! Dear Rick, this is really a deep searching for everything for me. I just wanted to forget everything with this Lethe river.. So I should keep the peaches and forget the Lethe… It should be something like that. Thank you, this is amazing. Love, nia
Yes, and throw in a reference to The Raven, and Peaches are forgotten Nevermore!
